How it works
We work together to find the best way forward for you.
The Problem
So many people do not want to spend the time required to build a quality website. They have a business to run and do not want to tinker with WordPress or Wix, just to have a sub par performing site, at a premium cost after adding all the extra subscriptions.
What if there was a way to have a performant website you do not have to build yourself, without paying a huge fee upfront?
The Fix
I started Craft Code to help these small businesses and entrepreneurs. I wanted to offer something that was beneficial for both sides. My main goal is manage everything about your website for you.
I build your website, and you pay a monthly fee for hosting and maintenance.
My Process
Initial Consultation
It all starts with a complimentary consultation call in which we discuss your current issues, and how you might benefit from hiring me. I will also answer any questions you might have
Evaluation
If you do not currently have a website, you can skip this stepTo move on to this stage, I require an evaluation fee of $40. This fee will be applied to your first month of service, should you decide to move forward with me.
With this fee, I will deep dive into the visible aspects of your website. I will document all the issues I can find, look for any vulnerabilities and fixable issues. I will also let you know what cannot ( or will be very difficult to ) fix with your existing setup.
In addition to documenting the issues, I will also do a demo conversion of one of your pages, usually the home page. This is to show you what a custom solution looks like when applied to your content.
Presentation
After my research is complete, I will send you a proposal and schedule a presentation call. The proposal will outline all of the issues and opportunities for improvement I found and include the link to the demo if applicable. During this call, we will go over these issues together and discuss the best way to move forward.
If you decide to move forward with me, I will send you a contract and invoice for the first month of service. The contract will require an initial commitment of 12 months, after which you can cancel at any time. Once the contract is signed and the invoice is paid, I will begin the work.
If you decide not to move forward, you keep the issues list.
Transformation
It's time build! If you do not have an existing website, the process will more or less be the same. We will have to discuss design and implementation separately.
We will work very closely together in a tight feedback loop to make sure everything is being done the way you want. All of the new work will be done in a completely separate environment, so your current website will not be impacted at all. Each page will be converted one by one, and sent to you for review.
After your final review, I will transfer your existing server configuration to the new website and take over hosting responsibilities for you.
Maintenance
Once your site is up and running, you will start to get monthly reports from me. I take care of monitoring your analytics as well sharing any patterns or issues I can see. There's a theme here, you don't have to do anything. Everything is given to you in an easy to consume format.
In addition to reporting, you can also have any edits done such as content, colors, fonts, images, etc. As an example, if you get a new team member, I will add their photo, bio and social links to your specifications.
Future Work
After the initial phase is completed, you can add on future development work. In addition to making edits, I will also handle any feature work for you. Some examples of this are adding a new blog, adding a new page, adopting a new design, using a CMS, changing or adopting a new CRM, etc.
There are very few limitations with what's included here. This is a premium experience, where you can have almost anything you want at an additional cost.
Ready to start?
Even if you're not, I'd love to hear from you.
